What is a hospitalist?
Hospitalist is an internal medicine, family doctor or pediatrician that can admit patient in the hospital and manage the patient. Dr Ceballos is a hospitalist as well. HE can direct admit you to the hospital or from emergency room, overseeing the medical treatment and management of his patients during the hospital stay with a smooth transition of care between the hospital and other healthcare setting. Making the transition from hospital to home seamless. And most important the follow up visit in clinic within a week from your discharge.
